SMIDSY will be at Motorcycle Live!
The weekend will soon be upon us and with that comes “Motorcycle Live” this is again in Birmingham at the NEC and will be open from the 18th to the 26th of November. So what does that mean?
Firstly the UKs biggest motorcycle show has promised to unveil an array of 2018 motorcycles, which for many will be the UK debut. After a little research SMIDSY has found that Ducati has announced it will be showing off the Panigale V4 superbike, which will be their first mass produced bike with a four-cylinder engine. Though there will be new machinery from Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki & the other mainstream brands – so this promises to be another jam packed show, with a lot of metal to look at.
SMIDSY will be attending and updating our progress through the show across platform on Twitter, Instagram & Facebook:
We will be there on Saturday, so feel free to follow our progress, and ask any questions you want answering.
So what else can we expect?
We can also expect to see a great FMX Live show, presented by Arenacross, this we’re sorry to report will be their final year. With that in mind they’re preparing to make this show their biggest, loudest and most ridiculously crazy show ever.
Its free and suitable for viewers of all ages! So you really don’t have any reason to not go!
On the Blackhorse stage there will be multiple interviews, games and fun with loads of racers. This is a great forum for people to ask questions – and to win prizes…..now who doesn’t like a prizes.
With all the halls you can expect a huge amount of features:
- Classic features
- Customer extreme features
- “Sit with Nick”
- Honda Fireblade 25th Anniversary
- BMW Rider Training
- Schwantz RGV500 restoration
- Yamaha R1
- KTM Ready to Race
- Isle of Man TT
You want to ride bikes, then there is plenty for young and old. In fact there is more there this year than we can remember in previous years and I for one, will be taking advantage of the “Youth AX Experience” and getting my little girl on two wheels once again.
As every there is so many Riders and Celebrities at the show, it’s not possible for us to list them here however, we do have a handy link direct to the site: Riders & Celebs
Some of our favourites include John McGuinness, Carl Fogarty & Leon Haslam. But like we say there are many many more so make sure you look at the link.
Similarly, there is a huge amount of manufacturers, and exhibitors. The Manufacturers are pictured below and there is a link to the huge assortment of exhibitors as again there are just too many to list. Though SMIDSY is looking forward to seeing what iAM Roadsmart is showing this year, along with Back Street Heroes & Arai Helmets.
